SHIPPING INFORMATION

HOF Therapeutics biologicals are made to order and on average take 4-6 weeks to ship. Products are shipped on Mondays and received on Tuesdays.  Typical shipment is by FedEx for standard viable cultures. Biologicals frozen using Cryophase can also be shipped by other carriers on dry ice. CAP Organs need to be unpacked immediately upon arrival. If shipped standard method wells are transferred into fresh medium and experiments need to begin within 24 hrs. If samples are shipped frozen they must be transferred to a -80oC freezer to survive 30 days, or to liquid nitrogen where they can remain ready to use for a century as long as the temperature is consistently maintained at -196oC (-320oF). The Cryophase protocol of controlled rate thawing needs to be followed for best viability. The Cryophase protocol requires care to thaw samples but is well worth the effort since it presents an economical advantage by only using select samples as needed. Having samples available on an as needed basis is ideal for many laboratories.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Refunds and returns are not accepted on biologicals, neither CAP organs nor cell cultures, due to loss of viability during returns. The customer is responsible for import clearance, duties, and taxes. Use of FedEx typically results in faster clearance.
